What we look after for our clients

Websites and e-commerce, IT management, accounting and custom software: for each project, what we put into it.

Websites and e-commerce

Online shops and websites we've built and look after day to day.

    Next.js - React - Node.js

Full development of the platform, from the database to the design: real-time game engine, payments, back office and a website in four languages.

    What we did

    • Custom web app — 32 pages, ~19,000 lines of code, 12 database entities.
    • Live draw system — numbers 1 to 90 drawn automatically and broadcast in real time to every connected player.
    • Verifiable draw — hash published before the cards go on sale, seed revealed at the end of the event: anyone can recalculate the sequence. The same mechanism handles tie-breaks.
    • Game engine — 3x9 cards following tombola rules, three prize tiers, prize assignment protected at database level.
    • SumUp payments — card, 3D Secure and Apple Pay, with cards released automatically when payments aren't completed.
    • Discount voucher system — fixed-value or percentage codes, automatic consolation vouchers.
    • User area — secure login, purchases, winnings and shipment tracking.
    • Back office — 8 screens for events, draws, winners, users, prizes, vouchers, catalogue and news, with an action log.
    • Prize catalogue — filterable by category, more than 70 product images edited and optimised.
    • Website in 4 languages — Italian, German, French and English, with translated URLs and content.
    • Transactional emails — confirmations, shipping, vouchers and password resets in the user's language.
    • Technical SEO — server-side structured data, sitemap, pages readable without JavaScript, GA4.
    • Performance — home page visual stability improved from 0.108 to 0.016 CLS.
    • Design system and accessibility — documented palette and components, WCAG fixes for contrast, screen readers and touch targets.
    • Security and compliance — rate limiting, CSP, vulnerabilities patched, 18+ requirements, CH/EU shipping, privacy and cookies.

IT management

Servers, deployment, email and workstations: the IT of companies that have handed us the technical side.

  • Frame Asset Management SA

We took the website into production on Infomaniak hosting, as a Node.js container reachable at frameam.ch. Then we sorted out security and the SSL certificate and made it possible to import NAVs from Excel. We've also signed an on-demand IT support contract with Frame Asset Management SA.

    What we did

    • Website launched on Infomaniak, with a working admin area and public APIs.
    • Private GitHub repository created and connected to the server, so updates go through it.
    • SSH access to the server set up with a dedicated key.
    • Configuration kept separate from the code: the repository only holds a template without secrets, the real keys live in the Infomaniak panel.
    • Production mode enabled, with sessions protected by a strong key that the server checks at every start.
    • reCAPTCHA ("I'm not a robot") set up on access to the Products area.
    • Excel import of NAVs: the hosting doesn't allow Python libraries to be installed, so the library that reads Excel files is now bundled with the website itself.
    • The check run when the server starts now finds that library, so it no longer reports an error that isn't there.
    • Let's Encrypt SSL certificate: issuing it failed because the website was blocking domain verification. Verification now passes, and so will the automatic renewal every 3 months.
    • Deployment script created that only updates the code. It doesn't touch PDFs, factsheets, images or data published from the admin panel.
    • Deployment and configuration procedures and known issues documented.

Software development

Custom-built applications: business software, integrations and payment systems.

  • Monthly shift planning for a care home ward

    In development

Turni Reparto is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that creates the monthly rotas for a care home ward. You enter staff, absences, management night shifts and coverage rules; a constraint engine generates the rota, guaranteeing minimum cover per role at every time of day and the working days each person owes. If a slot is left uncovered, the program explains where and why. The rota stays editable in the grid with real-time checks and exports to PDF and Excel. The data stays in a local database, with no server and no account.

    What we did

    • Staff records with role and employment percentage
    • Holiday, leave and absence management with approval
    • Management night shifts with automatic time off in lieu
    • Customisable shift catalogue, split shifts included
    • Coverage periods with minimum staffing per role
    • Count of days owed with monthly carry-over
    • Rules that can be saved as templates, with monthly exceptions
    • Canton of Ticino public holiday calendar
    • Automatic rota generation with a constraint engine
    • Several solutions compared and the best one chosen
    • Diagnosis of uncovered slots and the reason why
    • Monthly grid editable with mouse and keyboard
    • Real-time constraint checks
    • Absence warnings before generation
    • Archive of months and rota duplication
    • Rota export to PDF and Excel
    • Report of days worked and absences
    • Database backup and restore
    • Automated tests of the engine and exports
    • Installers for macOS and Windows

Security

Your data is processed in line with the Swiss nFADP and the European GDPR.

This is the list. The work is in the case studies.

What was there before, what we did and how much changed: engagements told in full, with the numbers.
