Cookies and measurement tools used on easy4you.cloud, the website of easy4you in Lugano: what they're for, how long they last and how to withdraw your consent.

This page describes the website's cookies and measurement tools in detail. To find out what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have, see the notice on data processing.

This translation is provided for convenience. The Italian version is the legally binding one.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device through the browser. They are used to recognise the browser from one page to the next: without them, some functions, such as sending a form or accessing the reserved area, could not work.

Alongside cookies we use the browser's local storage (localStorage), which works in a similar way but isn't sent with every request: that's where we keep your cookie choice.

2. Necessary cookies

These are essential for the website to work and therefore don't require your consent. They relate to session security, protecting forms from misuse and access to the reserved area, which is for our own use.

This category also includes the e4y-consenso-cookie entry, saved in the browser's local storage: it only contains your choice of categories and the date you made it. Without it the banner would reappear on every page.

3. Analytics cookies

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (property G-FW965994LC) to understand which pages are viewed, which channels visitors come from and which content is worth investing in. The IP address is truncated and reports are aggregated.

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors. Duration: 24 months.
  • _ga_FW965994LC — maintains the session state. Duration: 24 months.

4. Marketing cookies

With your consent we use the Google Ads tag (identifier AW-16493341011) to measure conversions from our campaigns, that is to know which ads lead to a contact request.

  • _gcl_au — attributes the conversion to the campaign it came from. Duration: 90 days.

No Facebook/Meta pixels, social plugins or retargeting systems are active on this website.

5. How we ask for consent

On your first visit a banner appears with three options: accept all, reject, or choose category by category. Until you make a choice, analytics and marketing stay switched off.

Technically this is done with Google's Consent Mode (v2): the tools are loaded in a state in which they can neither write cookies nor collect identifiers, and only switch to the active state after your consent.

6. How to change or withdraw consent

You can change your choice at any time, as easily as you made it:

  • by reopening the preferences panel from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page;
  • by setting your browser to refuse or delete cookies: you'll find the instructions in your browser's help pages;
  • by installing the Google browser add-on that disables Google Analytics on all websites;
  • by managing ad personalisation in your Google account settings.

Refusing analytics and marketing cookies does not limit your use of the website in any way.

7. Third-party cookies

The cookies described above are set by Google Ireland Limited, which reads them on its own behalf: we have no access to their content and no control over the processing that follows. Please see Google's privacy policy. The data may also be processed outside Switzerland, under the conditions described in the section on transfers abroad.

8. Updates to this page

If we add or remove a tool, we'll update this page and, where the change affects the stated purposes, ask for your consent again through the banner.
